Section 1: General Policies & Terms
1: General Policies & Terms:
1A: Zero Tolerance Blacklisting Policy:
1A-1: Any condescending, rude, abusive, hostile, unsafe, or otherwise negative behavior will not be tolerated.
1A-2: Any violent actions, or threats of violence will be addressed by our staff, and immediately reported to law enforcement.
1A-3: Any requests for any illegal product(s) or service(s) will be immediately reported to local law enforcement.
1A-4: an individual is subject to being added to our "Blacklist", any and all services as well as access to our property are off limits to them. An addition to our blacklist is permanent, and will not be reversed for any reason.
1B: Appointments:
1B-1: All services provided are by an appointment basis only. Please do not show up unannounced, you will be turned away and asked to make an appointment.
1B-2: If you are going to be late to your appointment, please call and give us a heads up. If we do not hear from you within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment start time, it will be automatically cancelled and you will have to reschedule.
2: Payments:
2A: Payment Methods:
2A-1: Acceptable payment methods include cash, most major credit / debit cards, postal money order, or business check (with a 7 day hold). Personal checks are not accepted.
2A-2: Any fraudulent forms of currency (fake bills, washed checks, etc) will be immediately reported to local law enforcement.
2A-3: Bounced checks are subject to penalties and possible legal action, depending on the severity.
2B: Payment Terms:
2B-1: For custom work orders / services, 100% of the cost of materials, and a minimum of 25% of the quoted cost of labor is due up front before any work begins. Any balance that remains is due prior to pickup.
2B-2: Once the customer is notified of the completion of any work done, the finished product(s) must be picked up within 30 days. Please see "Storage Terms" for additional details.
2C: Gift Certificates:
2C-1: Gift Certificates are available and can be purchased as a gift for another person. Gift certificates are serialized and are only redeemable by the purchaser, or the person the gift certificate was purchased for. Gift Certificates, once purchased, are non transferrable.
2C-2: Gift Certificates, once purchased, hold no cash value and will not be refunded for any reason.
2C-3: Photo ID is required in order to redeem a gift certificate.
3: Shipping & Webstore Orders:
3A: Shipping Terms:
3A-1: Unless otherwise requested, all orders will be shipped using standard Ground service. If you require faster delivery service for your order, an additional rush order shipping fee will apply.
3A-2: All long gun shipments are sent via UPS or Fedex Ground. All handgun shipments are sent via UPS or Fedex Air.
3A-3: All shipments are insured for the value of the purchase amount.
3B: Webstore Orders:
3B-1: Unless otherwise noted in the item description, all orders for in stock inventory will be shipped within 7 business days of your order being placed if paid with a card. Orders placed using postal money orders, or business checks will be shipped within 7 days of payment being received and fully processed.
4: Returns:
4A: Returns Policy:
4A-1: With some exceptions, most items purchased from our webstore can be returned / exchanged within 30 days of the date of original purchase.
4A-2: Returned items must include their original packaging (if applicable) and must not be worn, attached, or modified by the customer in any way. Any functional or cosmetic damage or alterations to the item will result in the return being automatically rejected.
4A-3: All return requests must be submitted via email to gearheadguns@gmail.com. Once we receive your return request, it will be reviewed by our staff to determine if the item(s) are eligible for return. If the item(s) are eligible for return, a shipping label will be provided.
4A-4: Once returned item(s) are received, a refund or replacement will be sent out within 7 business days. Purchases refunded will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
4A-5: Return requests can only be initiated by the original purchaser.
Section 2: FFL Instructions for Shipping Firearms
ALL firearm shipments require prior approval and must be shipped from an FFL. If a firearm arrives without prior communication and approval from us, it will be sent back to the FFL it was received from. We are not responsible for any fees or charges that may result.
For all FFL's sending firearms to us for transfer or gunsmith / custom services, please provide us with the following;
If the firearm is being sent for transfer:
-Digital copy of your current Federal Firearms License (FFL).
-Physical copy of your current Federal Firearms License (FFL) included in the package. FFL licenses printed on thermal labels, or copies that are illegible in any way will be rejected.
-Order confirmation with purchaser's name and contact information clearly legible.
If the firearm is being sent for gunsmithing / custom services:
-Digital copy of your current Federal Firearms License (FFL).
-Physical copy of your current Federal Firearms License (FFL) included in the package. FFL licenses printed on thermal labels, or copies that are illegible in any way will be rejected.
-Unexpired, valid photo ID of the firearm owner (If being sent for gunsmith service)
Packages that do not meet the above criteria may be rejected and returned to the origin FFL

Do not ship us packages containing packing peanuts. The package will be immediately returned.
